Consultants are required to have working knowledge of the California State Plane coordinate system, for both NAD 1927 and NAD 1983. All files shall be produced using the NAD 1983 system unless directed otherwise by the District's CAD Contact. Files supplied by the District or generated by the consultant will use this datum as a basis for the XY coordinate plane. The MicroStation seed file, provided in this package, establishes the correct global origin and working units for NAD 1983 coordinates.
All CAD Master Files submitted to the District shall contain two coordinate points with their XY coordinate locations labeled in the file. These coordinate point labels shall not be truncated, but shall represent the full State Plane Coordinate.
