Shapes, Complex Shapes, Circles, and Ellipses, when placed with colors in the range of 226 through 234, plot with area patterns. These pattern do not appear on the screen, but are filled in during plotting. These patterns are found in the pattern library which is used by the IPLOT software. The border of the shape is only plotted when the border is placed with line style = 0.
To fill an area with patterning
Verify that IPLOT software is available for plotting, and that the IPLOT configuration files have been edited to include the Pipeline Drafting pattern libraries.
Place a shape, complex shape, circle, or ellipse using colors 226 through 234 for the desired pattern as shown below
The shape will not be visible on the plot unless the shape is LC=0.
