Remove from Service (RFS) Drawing

Description:  A drawing for the purpose of providing record data of pipelines taken out of service.

Drawing Data Required

1. North Arrow

2. Right-of-Way

3. Nearest Cross Street

4. Proposed Pipeline and Appurtenances to be Removed from Service

5. Existing Pipelines

6. Call Outs for Pipelines to Remain and Pipelines RFS

7. Dimension Data

8. “USA” Block

9. “Justification” Block (required only on first sheet)

Most RFS drawings are referenced by a new or replacement pipeline and drawing.  RFS drawings can be easily produced by referencing the Master File of the new pipeline.  Appropriate levels are switched off for the final RFS drawing.
