Screening and Dithering Defined
Screening and Dithering are affects that lighten part of a drawing, or the background of a drawing. The Dithering affect is achieved by using color to create various shades of gray instead of black. The Screening affect is achieved by plotting black lines as a series of closely spaced dots. The IPLOT software and pen table controls the Screening or Dithering effect.
