Master File
Description: The Master File contains all graphics for the base drawings and design drawings. The Master File is not a drawing, but is a compilation of all of the existing topography and site features, and the proposed design. It is used as a reference file to create the drawings.
Master File Data Required
Right-of-way, easement, county, city and tract lines
Existing and proposed water lines and all water line appurtenances (valves, hydrants, valves, etc.)
Sanitary sewer lines and storm drain lines, including manholes and cleanouts
Other utilities, such as gas lines with valves, electric lines, utility poles, telephone lines and cable TV lines
Survey control points (monuments, iron pipes, etc.)
Road edge of pavement (EP) or face of curb (FC)
Ditch lines
Roadway center line or transit line, with roadway stationing. The stationing matches the subdivision plan stationing
Reference file clip boundary for each Base Drawing sheet
